Education: undergraduate Cairo Unversity (Egypt), Graduate Moscow Government University (Mathematics mostly), University of Minnesota 3 graduate degrees in Mathematics, Economics, and Statistics.
My papers appear in the top three journal of economics. I published four books in economic theory and mathematics. My research area is structural economic dynamics and Hetrodox economics. I taught economics in US for 48 years. During that time (while on leave) I taught in Egypt, Algeria, Russia, and Kazakhstan. I worked on the Kansas economy as a practicing economist for 10 years (at KU through IPPBR, With KTech, and with Kansas Inc). I have been involved (as project leader in fiscal reform in Russia for 8 years 1994 to 2001. I have experience as a practicing economist (framework of the budget of Egypt) and my team staffed The Committee on Budget, Banking, and Taxation in the Russian Federal Duma.
